I See You / We See You

Danish-Turkish photo artist Gül Kozacıoğlu’s exhibition I SEE YOU was exhibited at Yapi Kredi bomontiada in Istanbul in November 2022. The exhibition was accompanied by the talk-program WE SEE YOU, where Danish and Turkish artists and professionals within the field of sustainability participated in a panel discussion. The exhibition feature nature portraits and self portraits to open up a conversation about human in nature, climate change and collective engagement. For the panel discussion, DCI TR had invited Katarina Stenbeck, ph.d. at The Royal Danish Academy of Art; Kristian Snorre Andersen, CEO and founder of the design platformen Adorno Design; Ulrik Skeel, actor at the Odin Theatre in Holsterbro; and Michael Kiær, musician and composer of the soundscape for I SEE YOU. The panels took place in the two opening days of the exhibition.
