Sound of Europe 2023
Danish Cultural Institute was once again proud to support the Sound of Europe music festival in Türkiye. With the succes of last years edition, the initiative that was brought to life by members in EUNIC, was able to expand to two new cities and many more artists. In collaboration with the municipalities in Kadıköy, Çankaya and Izmir the music festival brought new sounds of Europe to audience in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir as well as Hatay.
Sound of Europe festival brought together 15 different music groups and prodigies from Europe with Tuhaf joining from Denmark. Together with local artists a stage of common dialogue and cultural exchange was created. The audience experienced a wide variety of musical performances all from jazz and folk to rock and electronic music.
